66793 - a photo on Flickriver

            Fourth time's the charm! After three failed attempts to do this in sun, Good Friday morning produced the goods as I joined the largest gallery I've ever seen here. (Although I'm sure there were more here at the start of the week!)

GB Railfreight 66793 in its Railfreight Construction livery snakes its train out of the docks complex and powers up for the incline to Bootle Jn with 6E10 Liverpool Biomass Terminal - Drax PS. Stablemate 66714 was giving the train a push from the rear, which after reversal worked the train forward to Drax. Of note, this train was routed via the LNWR line to Weaver Jn due to engineering works.

Effectively a 66/6, GB are trialling 793 on the Bootle branch to see how it handles a loaded train compared a normal shed or a tug. A bit more of a side on shot here than I would normally go for, but I don't mind that. After a week of disappointment chasing this loco I'm glad to finally have it nailed!
