Gulf Fritillary Jewels

            Hit "L" and take a closer look at the Gulf Fritillary's "studs" on its wings.  This beautiful butterfly is one of my favorites. They seem plentiful in SoCal - this one was seen at the Los Angeles County Arboretum.
