In celebration of Native American Heritage Month (NAHM), the Office of Tribal Relations (OTR) and the Office of the Assistant Secretary for Civil Rights (OASCR) hosted a department-wide observance featuring a panel of Indigenous chefs, foragers, and food leaders. The event also offered remarks from Stacy Dean, Deputy Under Secretary, Food, Nutrition, and Consumer Services, and Jenny Lester Moffitt, Under Secretary, Marketing and Regulatory Programs.
