Each summer in July, the Virginia Beach Oceanfront gets a little creative and colorful as artists join in the Chalk the Walk ARTsplosion.
At Chalk the Walk, participants draw four by four foot chalk drawings for three blocks along the boardwalk. This year’s theme was “Superhero Superstars.” Whether a superhero character from a favorite comic, movie (animated or live-action), book, or TV show, this year's theme inspired all of our artists to turn the Virginia Beach boardwalk into a dynamic, colorful world of fantasy!
