The Teton Range, viewed from Yellowstone

            When I set out for Yellowstone this morning the sky was cloudy and sometimes spitting rain, but as the day progressed the weather - and views - greatly improved. 

I went a few miles up East Entrance Road to look for grizzlies that frequent the area, but all I saw was these magnificent views from an aptly-named pullout, "Teton View." It's amazing that once can see those mighty Tetons from something like 90 miles away on a clear day. Below me is Yellowstone Lake. 

Note the vigorous regrowth among the burned snags!
