Loco 92207 Boiler

The boiler is from the steam locomotive, BR 9F No.92207 Morning Star, which has been under restoration at the site since 2005, already £100,000 has been spent on parts for the lower part of the engine.
As of 2009, 92207 was parked on a short length of isolated track at Shillingstone Railway Project with a new cab and bogie frame adjacent belonging to the new BR Clan Pacific Hengist. 75% of parts have been made or sourced, while the boiler will be the last piece repaired, requiring pitted welding, major stay and tubing work. To enable reconstruction, a temporary single road shed will be built.
As of January 2014 the purpose built shed has been completed. This will allow the restoration of 92207 to progress more easily and for deterioration to be kept to a minimum.
