Eisenbahnmuseum Bochum. Magnetschwebebahn-Fahrzeug Transrapid 07 (Sektion I).

            Seit kurzem verfügt das Eisenbahnmuseum Bochum über eine Hälfte des Magnetschwebebahnzuges Transrapid 07. Das Foto zeigt das Fahrzeug ein paar Wochen nach seiner Anlieferung, aber noch vor dem Abschluss der Aufstellungsarbeiten. Der Zug wurde im Jahr 1988 von Thyssen-Krupp gefertigt und war von 1989 bis 1999 auf der Transrapid-Versuchsanlage Emsland (TVE) im Einsatz. Später war der Halbzug am Flughafen München ausgestellt und konnte zuletzt am Hauptsitz des Bauunternehmens Max Bögl  in Neumarkt (Oberpfalz) besichtigt werden. Die Firma Max Bögl hat übrigens eine eigene Variante der Magnetschwebebahn speziell für den Personennahverkehr und für Gütertransporte entwickelt (das "Transport System Bögl TSB").

English translation:
The Bochum Railway Museum has recently taken possession of one segment of the Transrapid 07 magnetic levitation train. The photo shows the vehicle a few weeks after its delivery, but before the installation work was completed. The train was manufactured by Thyssen-Krupp in 1988 and was in use at the Emsland Transrapid test facility (TVE) from 1989 to 1999. The semi-train was later exhibited at Munich Airport and could most recently be viewed at the headquarters of the construction company Max Bögl in Neumarkt (Upper Palatinate). The Max company has developed its own variant of the magnetic levitation train specifically for local passenger transport and freight transport (Transport System Bögl TSB).
