34J at 482 - a photo on Flickriver

34J at 482

            On Sunday, March 12th, 2023 I caught eastbound NS train 34J on hold at CP 482 on Norfolk Southerns Chicago Line.  Train had UP 7835 and NS 9569.  He was waiting for the "Blue Water" and 61C then he would run 2 to 1 and around 34G who was stopped between CP 482 and 479 for some reason.  34G sat for a long time and the dispatcher was funneling trains in both directions around him for hours.  My next series of photos will show the action out at 479.

UP AC45CCTE #7835 was built by GE as an ES44AC in March of 2008.
