Kestrel (Falco tinnunculus), Fuerteventura, Canary Islands

            The flight jizz of the kestrel can look rather unlike that of a falcon. The sometimes rounded wings in particular may cause confusion with the sparrowhawk. Species breeds from Western Europe to Japan, with scattered populations in Africa.
