Slightly More Interesting Power - a photo on Flickriver

            I've said it before and I'll say it again: 6975 and the rest of its SD60E sisters are unbelievably lame power. I am rather glad to have not gotten those, even though admiral cabbed motors aren't the best either. Well, either way, it's better than SD60Es.

I was incredibly close to having made it to Osman, but just missed it by a hair. Instead, I had to whip a shitty and book it back down through Mansfield. ATCS updated - this time faster than Osman/Goembel (curse you Goembel for being ever just so slightly out of range 90% of the time...) - and showed D36 here was taking the siding at Lodge. Later, I'd learn it was meeting D17 there. At any rate, knowing that info meant I knew D36 would have to slow right on down, so I could afford a quick stop between Mansfield and Galesville. At a familiar crossing just south of Mansfield, I met up with D36 face to face with its duo of SD40-3s, 6407 and 6406. Oh, how we love telegraph poles on the Bloomington.
