The sun doesn’t always shine... - a photo on Flickriver

This image was taken 45 minutes after my previous posting and there doesn’t seem much chance of a warm glow from a peaking sun over the distant Pennine hills that I was hoping for. The distant cloud bank but paid to that and when the sun finally did make an appearance, it was too high in the sky.

I’ve processed this on the cool side and desaturated it slightly for the clouds...but more of a reflection of my mood with the non-appearance of the sun. Even the Lowry Bridge lights had gone out... bummer!
