70 Substitute, 56 094 in Kingmoor Yard with 6S36.

            With the recent take over of the haulage contract by Colas Railfreight for the PRAX Group oil contract at Lindsey Refinery I can only imagine it has caused a bit of a squeeze on the class 70 fleet. On this day the Dalston tanks from Grangemouth Refinery resorted to elderly class 56 traction. Its occasionally happened in the past when Colas obtained the class 60's but since the arrival of the 70's its much less common to see substitution of the booked class 70. The fact the train only ran south with 12 tanks loaded instead of 18 would also permit the use of a class 56. Here 56 094 sits waiting time backed into the Up Departures Yard headshunt in Kingmoor Yard with 6S36 08.32 Dalston to Grangemouth Refinery.
