Strathclyde Police Range Rover (P628 WNL)

            1997 Range Rover 4.0 V8 Auto

One of the exhibits at the British Motor Museum's Collections Centre in Gaydon, Warwickshire.

This particular car had two incarnations during it's service career. 

From new it served as an Armed Response Vehicle (ARV) with Durham Constabulary, hence the Newcastle-issued registration number, and sported that force's distinctive double gold stripe livery.

In 2001 it was sold to Strathclyde Police (now part of Police Scotland), given the now standard battenburg livery and served as an ARV in and around Glasgow until being withdrawn from service early in 2006.

With 112,000 miles on the clock it has been a resident at the British Motor Museum since 2010.
