My favourite outings with my Dad when I was a kid, were to the top of the Castle Keep, looking down on Newcastle Central station.

            On this occasion, we were witnessing a Scottish Class 40 of the 260-266 series passing a Peak. A Deltic, a Class 37, an 03 and several DMUs are also visible. Thanks, Dad, I only wish you'd taken more photos like this!
