            Situé en plein coeur du cimetière de Lapugnoy, l'édifice a été construit en 1845, à l'emplacement de l'église primitive à la demande de Geoffroy Marie Alphonse Du Hays. La famille du Hays a en effet  toute sa place dans l'histoire de la commune. Cette famille a longtemps été considérée comme bienfaitrice par les villageois. Restaurée elle fût bénite en mai 2010 par Mgr Jaeger.
