2023 10 06 - water flow

            An oasis of calm

Maybe not as serene as yesterday’s image. But, in its context, possibly more needed.

I spotted this scene as we were eating breakfast. And, I noticed ho people were rushing past. That’s understandable – the photo was taken just after 0800 on a Friday morning in St Pancras Square. People were scurrying to/from railway stations, getting on with their days. And, yet, here was a lovely water feature; an invitation to pause, slow down, and reflect… just for a few moments.

The fallen leaves added to the magic for me…. before I headed off to get on with my day!
