Alberta/Montana - a photo on Flickriver

Alberta/Montana

            Somewhere along Alberta Highway 2, south of Cardston, Alberta

Having tried to cross into the US the early evening the day before only to discover that that crossing point closed at 6 PM (I was thirty minutes late), I made a detour and ended up spending the night in Cardston instead of Glacier National Park as planned. After eating a late breakfast (the only kind I ever eat) the next morning and roaming about the town for an hour (the birthplace of Fay Wray), I headed for Glacier NP.  This was taken shortly before reentering my country and looking west.  I'm not certain where Alberta ends in this photo and where Montana begins, but I'm pretty sure some of the mountain on the left are in Montana.
