The Old Beech in Winter - Die Kalte Staude im Winter

            This is an image from yesterday in the morning. It shows an 200 year old beech at the Franconian Forest near Presseck. It's called "Kalte Staude" and it's an natural monument. I showed it sometimes before, but this nearly monochrome (which it is not) shot is my favourite until now.

Dieses Bild von gestern am Morgen zeigt die "Kalte Staude", eine 200 Jahre alte Buche im Frankenwald. Sie steht nahe Presseck und ist ein Naturdenkmal - und ohne Frage ein sehr schönes! Ich habe sie schon hier gezeigt, aber dieses annähernd monochrome Winterbild (nein, es ist nicht schwarz-weiß!) ist bisher mein schönstes Bild von diesem Motiv.
