            Certain Saturdays in the spring, the Phoenix Desert Botanical Garden (DBG) opens its doors to dogs in addition to the humans.  So we took the opportunity to take Jasper this week.  We told him where we were going and he remembered the place.  He was super excited, not understanding why we didn't just go at 6:30AM.  Well the opening hour of 8AM finally rolled around and it was a great opportunity to get some new sniffs, meet other dogs and enjoy the beauty of the desert.  As our visit came to and end we headed to the car and when Jasper realized we were headed to the car, he pulled us back toward the garden.  Mean parents that we are, we told him that it was time to head home.  Well there are  3 more Dog Days in the Garden before summer when its too hot to bring dogs to the DBG.  So I'm guessing we'll get back there for at least one more visit this season
