PHRR MP15DC No. 1296 in Granite City, IL

            Resting at America's Central Port in Granite City, IL is the Port Harbor Railroad Harbor MP15DC No. 1296 wearing a UP-esque paint scheme with bright silver trucks.  

This was built in 1982 for the Mo-Pac as the MP No. 1366, eventually trading its Jenks Blue paint for Armour Yellow when it became the UP No. 1366.  It was later renumbered to 1296 and eventually relettered as the UPY No. 1296 before being retired off the roster and picked by Respondek Railroad Corp. at an auction in 2015.  3/16/24.
