Impressing The Ladies: Goldeneye Ducks

            Most of the rivers and lakes around here are frozen over. Still, you'll find goldeneye ducks doing their mating rituals wherever there are open areas. It is pretty comical to watch the males contort their bodies into unusual positions to get the attention of the females.

I made this image at the mouth of the Fox River in Neenah, Wisconsin using my new Sony A7RV camera and Sony 200-600 lens.
