Café des Deux Moulins - a photo on Flickriver

            I love love love the film Amélie but I didn't want to do super touristy things when I first visited Paris.  This was my seventh time visiting and I felt it was about time that I went inside...there's a cute little shrine to Audrey Tatou by the bathrooms, a film poster on the wall and a pretty average cocktail and food menu list that is, to be fair, only a little over priced.  It is in Montmartre anyway where much is overpriced to begin with.  I had a Cosmopolitan and enjoyed the free olives and the ambiance. 

While we were there, a couple sitting next to us from I believe Japan was trying to film their entire experience...it was pretty cute but they don't allow filming there-still photography only so they were unfortunately asked to stop.  Anyway, it's a special place for a good reason.  That movie is cat friendly and has just the right amount of dosage of magical realism.
