Light on the Tip of the Spear - a photo on Flickriver

Light on the Tip of the Spear

            The mountain here is called Slioch which is Gaelic for Spear.
This is one of the Munro's and is 981 metres (3218 feet) it towers above the south east end of Loch Maree.
The weather was typically Scottish (very changeable) and we had a very light dusting of snow on the highest peaks.
I searched for a position to compose this shot to show off the shapely tree and the mountain.
As the sun was setting and squeezing through breaks in the cloud I was treated to this light show on the top of Slioch.
