A Wide Angle View of Denali - a photo on Flickriver

            I capture this image years ago on a trip to Alaska. One article I read many years back mentioned to go back through older image and attempt to see if you might be able to process it a little better, given one's knowledge of different software systems as well as just your personality and see what you might be able to bring out. The idea was you might have some hidden gems and be pleasantly surprised. That's the story behind this image in looking at a few images capture that day on a bus ride in Denali National Park & Preserve. This was a roadside pull off with a view to Denali...and what a view it was! I pulled back on the focal length, wanting to include some of the nearby surrounding hillsides and colors with Denali as a distant backdrop. I took 3 bracketed photos, using my Nikon SLR, and then went into Nik HDR Efex Pro in order to convert them into an HDR photo. I finished up the final image in Capture NX2.
