            Let Me Wake Up Every Morning and Be Thankful!
Let me wake up knowing I have friends to share moments of life
Let me wake up and walk a few miles with the legs I have
Let me take a breath and feel the bite of a cold wind across a snow covered landscape
Let me savor the warmth and light of a rising sun
And let me be thankful I woke up to experience another day...

Another work of short poetry or prose to complement the image captured one early morning around sunrise in Bryce Canyon National Park at Sunset Point. This was another of those image rotations I have on my Mac desktop from past trips where I decided to see what I could do with some post-processing knowledge I have with Capture NX2 and Color Efex Pro. I first brought the RAW/NEF image into Aurora HDR 2019 to see what I might be able to bring out. I could then export a TIFF image and make some adjustments to exposure to bring back some lost highlights, some use of color control points and a Low Key and Polarization filter, I was able to bring this out as a final image...and definitely a place I really need to visit again one year soon!
