I keep an eye on you

            The saltwater crocodile (Crocodylus porosus) is a hypercarnivorous apex ambush predator capable of taking almost any animal that enters its territory. Apex predators have no predators of their own, residing at the top of their food chain. A hypercarnivore is an animal which has a diet that is more than 70% meat. Ambush predators capture prey by stealth rather than by speed. Due to their size and distribution, saltwater crocodiles are the most dangerous crocodiles to humans.  The photo was taken on a boat cruise in the wetlands of Kakadu National Park, Northern Territory, Australia.
