This was meant to be a twenty minute exposure, however, the bay of Travemünde doubles as a main shipping lane for some very big commercial vessels, and it was a busy evening, every time I setup and started the exposure running, along would come one these chunk monkeys and of course. they're covered in lights, very bright lights, which would destroy my hopeful shot.

However, all that said, I was about 7 minutes into this exposure and I had to abandon it, as a Chemical Tanker was approaching from the left had side, I waited as long as I could then stopped it. When reviewing it I realised I had a more than good enough shot, in my opinion, personally I would have wanted slightly longer star trails but fate would have been settle for this.

PS: That bright light next to the central red ones, is in fact a Stena Line passenger ship, which was several kilometres out, so you see what I mean. :)
