Layers in the Valley of the Aragon river

            🇬🇧 A week ago I visited the area around Sangüesa, in Navarra. One of those days I got up very early, still at night, and walked to the outskirts of the small village of Rocaforte, including a small stretch of the Saint James Route. 

From the mountains in this area you can see the small valley of the Aragón river shortly after its fall from the Yesa dam. At dawn and from above, the layers formed by the light are a spectacle that I always try to photograph when the sun is low. With a telephoto lens that I usually use to photograph birds, this detail is the photo that I like the most of all the ones I have taken these days.

🇪🇸Hace una semana visité los alrededores de Sangüesa, en Navarra. Uno de esos días me levanté muy temprano, aún de noche, y caminé hasta los alrededores del pequeño pueblo de Rocaforte, incluyendo un pequeño tramo del Camino de Santiago. 

Desde los montes de esta zona se puede ver el pequeño valle del río Aragón poco después de su salto desde el embalse de Yesa. Al amanecer y desde lo alto, las capas que se forman con la luz son un espectáculo que siempre trato de fotografiar cuando el sol está bajo. Con un teleobjetivo que suelo usar para fotografiar pájaros, este detalle es la foto que más me gusta de todas las que he hecho estos días.
