It's all over as Unit 4 stands on the blocks at Piccadilly after arrival with the last train from Hadfield. 
All that is left is for the sets to be shunted out to the holding siding outside the station (Reddish having already closed) and the pantographs lowered for the final time. 
Work would begin shortly to complete the changover to 25Kv ac for Monday morning and the reign of the Class 303's would begin.
